This graduate certificate program prepares you for a variety of journalism or media careers. You’ll learn in-demand skills, from researching and interviewing to data mining and content production. Get work experience through a media internship
Once you’ve completed your in-class studies, you’ll have a 4–6 week internship. You’ll work with your professors to secure a placement in a media or news organization that suits your career goals. This work placement will give you valuable industry experience that puts you a step ahead of the competition.
Work with the latest journalism tools and technology
Sheridan’s newly renovated newsroom is a fully interactive space. It merges all media platforms (radio, television, web) into one centre. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment and studio space, and will use a variety of camera formats to produce news stories, documentaries and other digital content.
