DIPLOMA IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN provides hands on training and theoretical foundation in telecommunication technology. Students will learn to install, repair and maintain telecommunication, network and data cable line. The diploma also covers basic to advance topics in electrical circuits with focus on AC and DC fundamentals, telephone systems, VOIP, Radio Frequency, and antennas. The diploma also covers topics in networking with courses such as data communication and training in CCNA. This diploma covers several types of telecommunication methods, including wired technologies like broadband and fibre optics, as well as free hand technologies like wireless and satellite.
