You’ll spend your first 8 months at Lakeland building technical and field skills. Career-focused coursework and field labs run September to April.
An 8-month practicum with an employer follows. A practicum coordinator helps you find a practicum host. Most run May through December. Most are paid. After your practicum, you complete the program with a capstone presentation in late winter. Capstone audiences include instructors, classmates, peers and industry.
As a graduate, you’ll have more than just an applied degree; you’ll also have industry experience on your resume.

The Post- Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows you to work for three years in Canada if you have completed a two years degree or more.
