Peel District School Board is a vast school district operating in the region of Peel under the municipalities Caledon, Brampton, and Mississauga. It serves almost 150,000 students from Kindergarten to grade 12 in more than 250 schools across Peel, Ontario. Peel District School Boards is the largest employer in the entire Peel region and the second-largest employer in the whole of Canada. Among Canadian school districts, the Peel board is among the most ethnically and culturally diverse. Peel School Board offers several Adult Learning Programs as well, namely credit programs to help adults complete their secondary school diploma. Adult ESL programs to help adults develop and refine their English language skills and literacy and essential skills courses to help adults upgrade specific skills. The Peel board’s Peel Alternative School (PAS) offers a variety of alternative programs designed with the individual needs of students in mind. These include the Foundations Program, Fresh Start Suspension and Expulsion Program, Supervised Alternative Learning (SAL), Temporary External Learning Link (TELL), and Teen Education and Motherhood Program (TEAM).

Several Specialist High Skills Major programs start in grade offered in areas such as arts, business, and entrepreneurial skills, construction, environment, health and wellness, hospitality and tourism, information and communications technology, manufacturing and retail, sports, and transportation.
