Living in a SAIT residence has many advantages when arriving on a new campus in a new country. At SAIT, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community that will make your stay a positive one.

What we offer at SAIT

• Residence suites: Our residence suites are located in the northeast corner of the main campus with two modern high rises boasting four different floor plans: one bedroom apartments, four-bedroom shared quads, two bedroom units and studio suites. All of our suites come fully furnished with utilities included and are self-contained with individual bedrooms, shared kitchens and bathrooms, study areas and common living spaces.
• Residence life: Living at SAIT gives you access to the SAIT Residence Life team, who are available for additional support while you live on campus — and as an International Student, you can get additional support through SAIT's International Centre. Learn more about residence life.

Types of Accommodations in Calgary

• Condos/Apartments: Condos are individual units within a larger building, often with shared amenities like fitness centers or common areas.
• Townhouses: Townhouses are multi-level residences that share walls with adjacent units. They offer more space than apartments and may come with features like private entrances and small yards.
• Basement Suites: Basement suites are self-contained living spaces located on the lower level of a house. They often have a separate entrance and include basic amenities.
• Shared Housing: Renting a room in a shared house or apartment is a cost-effective option. Students can share common spaces like the kitchen and living room with roommates.
• Homestays: Homestays involve living with a local host family. This provides a supportive and immersive environment for international students, helping them adapt to the local culture.
