Founded in 1967 on traditional Blackfoot land, the University of Lethbridge (uLethbridge) is one of Canada’s top-ranked universities and leading research institutions. It is one of Alberta's four comprehensive academic and research universities. It focuses on liberal education, Interdisciplinary approach, and experimental learning, which has overgrown over the university years. The motto of the college itself states illumination that comes from research and planning. The university offers more than 150 degree, certificate and diploma programs and more than 70 master’s, certificate, diploma and doctoral programs.
