Overview

In 2008, Alpha College formed a partnership with St. Lawrence College. This partnership was formed to promote a metropolitan experience for international students, consequently bringing about a range of benefits; allowing International students to take advantage of the opportunity to live and study in Toronto, one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

Following the St. Lawrence curriculum, each semester is designed to meet the challenges unique to international students and exceed academic expectations through a combination of theory and hands-on experience.

Our St Lawrence College programs offer high quality education in a student friendly environment, designed to welcome international students. Students will also have the benefits of:

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to St. Lawrence College at Alpha College of Business and Technology:

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Students have numerous options of finding accommodation off-campus in nearby areas. Students can have access to studio apartments, paying guest facilities, sharing apartment complexes, and many more.

Homestay
Homestays are an integral system of housing for students. Students have the opportunity to avail homestay facilities as per their discretion and choices. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
