THE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE ACADEMY OF CANADA (ILAC)
ILAC (The International Language Academy of Canada) is one of the biggest and most awarded English language schools in Canada, with six boutique campuses located across Toronto and Vancouver. Approximately 20,000 students representing 100+ different nationalities study at ILAC every year. Established in 1997, ILAC is a pioneer in Canadian university and college pathway programs and home to one of the largest IELTS testing centres in the world.
OUR CAMPUS
Toronto - The ILAC Dream Building is home to the new Georgian@ILAC campus. The beautiful, boutique-style space features modern classrooms filled with natural light and an open concept design that promotes learning and connection.
Centrally located - The ILAC Dream Building is conveniently located in downtown Toronto, Canada’s most populous city. Toronto is the business capital of Canada and offers students access to different cultures, ideas and opportunities from around the world.
Transportation - The Georgian@ILAC campus is easily accessible by subway trains and buses, and is located a few steps away from the TTC Sherbourne Station on the Bloor-Danforth Line. Students can use a reloadable PRESTO card to pay the fare for the TTC, GO Transit, UP Express and 8 other transit agencies in Ontario.
Activities - Georgian@ILAC students have access to a variety of social and educational activities throughout the year, including local tours, special events, music concerts, festivals, major sports and more! ILAC activities are the best way for students to make friends, discover Canada and expand their learning beyond the classroom.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Georgian College
International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Orientation activities - We are determined to make your transition to Georgian@ILAC both seamless and fun. Open your semester with introductions to the resources and services available from Georgian and ILAC. Get acquainted with Toronto. Meet your classmates and instructors. Note due to COVID-19, all orientation events in Winter 2021 will take place online.
Health and dental insurance - Georgian@ILAC students have insurance coverage from a health and dental plan from Georgian College Students’ Association (GCSA), known as MyStudentPlan.
Academic advising - We understand that undertaking a new learning journey in an unfamiliar environment can be challenging at times. Academic advising services are available on campus to help our students transition into the academic program and learning experience at Georgian@ILAC. Academic advisors will support students in achieving their educational goals and planning out their future opportunities.
