Under a licensing agreement with Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology, a publicly funded college located in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, international students can now enroll in select Northern College diploma programs at our Pures – Toronto location.

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Northern College at Pures Toronto:

International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Housing Services
Pures College’s Student Services department provides a variety of housing services to international students.

Please note the location link below, and explore the student housing resources. We recommend that students planning to take the subway or bus also use the Toronto Transit Trip Planner to help determine the travel time from a rental location to your campus.

When it comes to rental accommodation, including sharing with roommates, we strongly recommend that students review the resources provided by Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB). These include guides for first-time renters and how to handle complaints or disputes because it’s important to know both your rights and responsibilities, including the need for a lease or written agreement.

Homestay
Living in a homestay is another option for students new to Ontario who wish to have a more supported experience. Homestay fees generally include three meals per day, wireless internet, a private room with a bed and desk. This option is open to all students.
